This Privacy Policy explains how MagnetGrid ("the App", package name
com.enila.magnet_grid) collects, uses, and protects information
when you use it. MagnetGrid is a puzzle game developed by Enila Studio.
MagnetGrid stores your game progress, settings, and preferences locally on your device (using local storage such as Isar and SharedPreferences). This local data is not personally identifiable and stays on your device unless you use the optional cloud backup feature described below.
Optional cloud backup: MagnetGrid can back up your local progress to our cloud database (Firebase Firestore) using an anonymous Firebase account that is automatically created on your device. This anonymous account is not linked to your name, email address, or any other personally identifying information. To restore your progress on a new device, MagnetGrid uses a short restore code generated on your original device — no sign-in with a Google, Apple, or email account is required or supported.
MagnetGrid shows ads served through Google AdMob. If you are located in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, a consent form (Google UMP) is shown before any ads are requested, allowing you to choose whether to receive personalized or non-personalized ads. You can change this choice at any time from Settings → Manage consent.
MagnetGrid does not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework and does not access your device's advertising identifier for cross-app tracking on iOS.
MagnetGrid is designed for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details in Section 8 so we can remove it.
Local data stays on your device until you uninstall the App or reset your progress from Settings. Cloud backup data (Section 1) is retained until you request its deletion (see Section 6) or it becomes inactive per our retention practices. We use reasonable technical measures, including those provided by Google Firebase, to protect any data that is transmitted or stored.
Depending on your location, you may have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR/UK GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and the right to object to or restrict processing. Because MagnetGrid does not collect data linked to your identity, most of these rights apply only to the anonymous cloud backup described in Section 1; you can delete this backup at any time by contacting us (Section 8) with your restore code.
California users: we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the sense defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
Where cloud backup is used, data may be processed and stored on servers operated by Google (Firebase) located outside your country, including in the United States, under Google's standard contractual safeguards.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
